Canadian Tire Store Fire - Mission BC

The Canadian Tire Store in Mission BC suffered a fire due to arson in Jan of 2019.

The fire bellowed smoke all through the building contaminating and covering everything in a thick layer of soot and chemicals.

Team Ocean was called in to media blast approximately 120,000 sq feet of commercial space using crushed 50/100 mesh. Main contractor Belfor Restoration had us preform a test blast on the tile floor and the Q decking ceiling. After approval to proceed was given we were called to start the cleaning and stripping process.

The project was successfully completed in 10 days and the refurbishment of the property is now well under way.
