Testimonials
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to highly recommend Saleem Khan and Ocean Pacific MediaBlasting Inc. We had a fire on our site and needed some media blasting. We contacted a few contractors to quote the job and Saleem was one of a few that expressed interest. We did a walk through with Saleem to show him the job. During the walk through he asked questions and offered advice which demonstrated an extensive knowledge of the project. Saleem submitted a very competitive quote and was awarded the job. During the project there were some issues that arose and Saleem was very proactive in problem solving and working with us to come up with a solution. He guaranteed his work and suggested a walk through upon completion to inspect everything. We did a walk through with Saleem at the end of the project to make sure we were satisfied. He mentioned that if we noticed anything to let him know and that he would come back.
He completed the job safely, on time and on budget with no additional charges. Saleem is a very safe, dedicated, conscientious, and talented worker in this field. We really appreciated Saleem’s personal involvement, availability, and attention to our project to ensure he met our needs. Based on our experience with Saleem and Ocean Pacific Media Blasting Inc., we confidently recommend him and the media blasting services his company offers.

To whom it may concern,
I am pleased to write this letter of reference for Ocean Pacific Media Blasting, with reference to it's bid to work on the Native Sons Hall in Courtenay.
Ocean Pacific and it's principal, Saleem Khan were involved in removing old lead paint and mould from the Salt Building in Vancouver's Olympic Villiage. The Salt Building is an industrial timber structure built in the 1930's which has been rehabilitated under the direction of Acton Ostry Architects, with ourselves as the heritage consultants. Ocean pacific applied a special glass-blasting method which worked excellently; the treatment removed the paint and revealed the historic timbers without abrading the wood. Ocean Pacific was able to adjust the pressure under our direction, in order to provide the finish that was desired.
The work was carried out to our satisfaction and we appreciated the professional way in which Mr. Khan and his firm completed the work.
We have no hesitation to recommend their services for the Native Sons Hall.
Sincerely yours,
Harold Kalman

Haebler Construction Projects INC introduces Ocean Pacific Blasting to the Salt Building project Architects and the Heritage Consultants mid 2008, after various discussions regarding the desired finish the construction team were more than satisfied with the attention to detail and knowledge of the delicate nature of the Salt Building structure Ocean Pacific Demonstrated.
In September of 2008 Oean Paciific Media Blasting were awarded the scope on restoring the complete open beam ceiling structure on the Vancouver Salt Building located in the heart of the South East False Creek Olympic Village.
Approx 40,000 sq. ft. of heritage wood was restored beyond our expectations. Sal has a real eye for removing only the unwanted coatings revealing the wood's natural beauty. Ocean Pacific's team were willing to work long hours to meet the project's extremely challenging schedule. This included working throughout the 2008/2009 Christmas and New Year period.
I would certainly call on Sal and his team again and have no hesitation in recommending Ocean Pacific Blasting for future projects.
Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

I wanted to write and thank you for the contribution your firm made towards the successful completion of the Salt Building. As you may have heard this project was recently awarded the "Gold Award" from the Vancouver Regional Construction Association, for a project up to $12 million.
Certainly achieving an award like this, which recognizes innovation, quality, schedule and budget performance, would not have been possible without the cooperation and positive attitude of your site and field staff.
We thank you for this, and look forward to working with you on many more projects in the future, and in the meantime wish you all the best for the Christmas holiday season.
Yours Very Truly,
Roland Haebler, P. ENG, President
